On January 16 Holy Angels School held its annual Spelling Bee. This year's participants were fifth graders Jenna Bulanadi and Julian Rodriguez, sixth graders Adam Cajuguiran and Kyle Lactaoen, seventh graders Cyrus Chung and Ceejae De Lumen and eighth graders Christian Bejar and Hillary Jimenea.
The spelling bee lasted sixteen exciting rounds. Christian Bejar spelled the winning word "peasantry" and was declared this year's winner. He will advance to the next level of competition.
All spellers did a stupendous job participating in the bee and deserve congratulations.
