The thought of kindness was put into action not just in our school, but our local community by these talented artists. A local hospital. With talent and creativity, the profit from their homemade bookmarks awarded 55 books to a pediatric department to promote early literacy. Proceeds were donated to ‘Reach Out and Read.’ March’s kindness award recipient is not one student, but two students who showed - Kindness is Simple. Kindness is Love. Kindness Matters.

Ysabella Garcia: She’s always offering her time and thinking of others first.
Makayla Fong: Helping Mrs. Fong carry snacks from the car early in the morning with a smile on her face.
Emma Rocha & Baylie Ruiz: Volunteering to organize the book fair by sorting shelves and book tables during their recess time.
Marreon Peoples: He’s polite and respectful when spoke to. He accepts the chances given to him, and always tries his best. Often seen holding his sister’s hand when walking home.
Vincent Fernandez: Without being asked he’s always ready to offer a helping hand whenever needed.
