The theme of Catholic Schools Week this year, “Catholic Schools: Community of Faith, Knowledge and Service” encompasses several concepts that are at the heart of Catholic education. Schools are communities— small families in their own right, but also members of the larger community of home, church, city, and nation.
The new logo features a swirl of colors interacting around a cross, which is at the center of all Catholic education. The vibrancy of the colors and the movement and shadows in the logo portray the inner-connectivity and community life that are present in our Catholic schools.
Parents and friends, I would like to request you to pray with us as we are in the process of having a PRE-SCHOOL at HOLY ANGELS. We would like to extend our ministry to the 3-5 year old with a curriculum that will encourage individual skills and emerging interests in academics, creative expression, and outdoor learning. It is a curriculum that will prepare the young minds to begin Kindergarten and beyond.
Thank you, everyone, and let us continue to pray for all of our Catholic Schools throughout the world for we have a great mission to teach our young people and allow them to experience God and encourage them to serve other people in need.
Once again, thank you for choosing Holy Angels School. We ask you to invite your friends to join our community of faith as we teach our children as Jesus did.
Devotedly yours in Christ,
Sister Leonarda Montealto, OP
Principal
