Extended Day Care

School Year 2008-2009

There will be no extended care on the following days:
August 25, First Day of School

November 26, Day before Thanksgiving

December 19, Last day before Christmas vacation

April 9 , Holy Thursday

May 29 , Graduation Day

June 5, Last day of school

Extended day care operates from 7:00 to 7:30 AM and again from 3:15 to 6:00 PM for grades K thru 8. Extended day care is open on all school days with the exception of the first and last day of school, the day before Thanksgiving, the last day of school before Christmas vacation and Holy Thursday and graduation day. Extended care also observes the same holiday schedule as the school. Hourly or monthly fee schedules are available. Billing is done at the end of each month. Any student on school premises after 3:15 PM automatically goes to Extended Day Care. Before school care is held in the Science Lab.

Parents: It is very important that you understand that no child may be dropped off in the schoolyard before 7:30 am. The yard is not supervised. Children must be brought to extended care (in the science lab) if dropped off before 7:30 am. The charge will be $1 per day for this service. Before school care begins at 7:00 AM.

Families using Extended Day Care on a regular basis for the first time, need to register. Registration forms can be found in the office.

Extended Day Care Rates 2008-2009

Full time K-8 (five days per week): $240/month
Before school only (all grades): $1.00/day
Drop in basis: $8 per hour

A fee of $6.00 per minute is charged for students left after 6 PM
