Welcome to the 2009-2010 athletic season at Holy Angels
Elementary School. Holy Angels School continues to expand its athletic program, and with the participation of our student-athletes and their parents, a strong sense of community continues to build our school family. We expect that all student-athletes, parents and coaches embrace the school’s commitment to good sportsmanship, citizenship and fair play.

Holy Angels’ athletic program is aimed at promoting the emotional growth of our students by maintaining a competitive athletic program which stresses fundamentals, Christian behavior andsportsmanship, individual effort and teamwork, participation and fair competition.

2009 CYO League Champions

GYM basketball practices for our 11 basketball teams this year will begin on Tuesday, December 1st and Thursday, December 3rd respectively at Serramonte Del Rey. Practices are being worked out with the coaches. More information on exact practice times for each team will be distributed to all basketball participants on Tuesday, November 24th.

We are still looking for volunteers to help us at the 49ers concession stands. The following are the dates of the game and the number of volunteers we have:
* December 14th (7 volunteers)
* December 27th (12 volunteers)

If you are interested in earning service points by spending a day at Candlestick Park, please contact Mr. Calma.

Golden State Warriors' tickets vs. the Indiana Pacers on Monday, November 30th @ 7:30 pm are available through 6th/7th grade parent, Lisa Jimenez. All ticket proceeds will benefit our goal of purchasing basketball jerseys for our basketball student-athletes. Click here for the order form.

Athletic Awards Night will be on Friday, December 4th beginning at 6:30 pm in the Parish Hall. All volleyball and flag football players along with coaches will be recognized on this night. Food, raffle prizes and a video presentation will be part of this fun celebration. All are welcome to attend!

Open Gym Basketball at Serramonte Del Rey will begin on December 1st. We will play ball every Tuesday night from 9:00-10:30 pm. If you are interested, click here to complete the registration form and send your pre-payment of $30 to the school office by Monday, November 23rd.
